      Unplug and Drive

      March 23rd, 2007 | by daniel | General, Travel

Do you ever get the need to disconnect for a while?

We have been planning our “baby-moon” for a while, and could never settled on a destination. For planners like us to not be able to decide on the first part of a plan has been aggravating. Too near, too far, too much time. Too hot, too cold, never just right.

So we decided to take a few days and unplug. No work, no internet, no cell phones, no friends or family. Just us, an overnight bag, and a ragtop Mustang named ‘Kelly’. When we were dating we would take long drives in the Hill Country, exploring highways, parks and restaurants. The best part of it all was simply enjoying being together.

Although we don’t have a destination, we have time. I think that’s all we need.
