I really do like the song ‘What’s Going On’ by 4 Non Blondes. It makes me happy to sing it at the top of my lungs. As long as no one is around, of course.

Not much is going on at the Espinoza household. We are gearing up for a busy end to our week. But I seriously like our slow days. Its usually easier for me to stay home all day to make sure Ace gets her THREE naps in. But when she is awake she is the happiest baby. Its worth it. I like having dinner ready or at least started before Daniel gets home. He plays with Ace, we eat, go for a walk, then its time to start her bedtime routine and lay her down for the night. Last night she slept 12 hours. No lie. Then, Daniel and I always end up in the office. We moved our little fridge to our office. Its wonderful. The fridge currently contains some water, cans of Sprite and Dr.Pepper, some sugar free chocolate pudding cups, and some applesauce leftover from my morning sickness. We also bought two bright red visitor chairs from Ikea for the office. I have been wanting them for months. They are beautiful and functional. We (heart) our office.

The Emmys were Sunday night. I am an award show junkie. I watch almost all of them. Tivo makes the whole experience so much better. Who cares if ‘Broken Trail’ or Tony Bennett won again - fast forward. I just love the dresses, the montages, and the attempts at making jokes. I like guessing who is going to win, even if I don’t watch any of the shows. I am thinking about live blogging the Oscars next year. The Golden Globes is before the Oscars, maybe I’ll do a test run then. Seriously, I love award shows, the red carpet shows, and the fashion police shows afterwards. Its a sickness, I know.
