Daniel and I have been trying to get Annabelle to say either “Da Da” or “Ma Ma.” I knew Da-Da had the advantage of being easier to say, but I still hoped. Yesterday she was making some “da” sounds, but not directly at Daniel. Just now Daniel looked up from his desk and started speaking to Annabelle. She turned, looked straight at him, and clearly said “Da-Da!”

I think our hearts just melted.
