It’s been a while since we’ve had a visit from our old pal Murphy (if it can happen, it will), and why not Fiesta week for a little catchup?
Things weren’t all that bad, except Amanda and I playing Hot Potato with a virus that pounds your head, returns your lunch, wrenches your lower back, and leaves you just enough energy to blink your eye lids. We’re praying Ace doesn’t play along, so far she’s been doing ok.
Along with the physical beating we took this week, our pocket book took one today to the tune of one outdoor A/C unit. We got to spend a splendid 24 hours with 83 degrees in the upstairs, and although Ace loves waking up looking like she was swimming in her crib we went ahead and brought back the paid-for air.
We always encourage people to look at the “true cost of ownership” when thinking of buying over renting and after they are bit by the North American I-rent-so-I-am-going-to-hell bug. Well, we got kicked in the junk with that picture.
Good thing is we’re all on the mend, and the office is back to being too cool for school.
