I just realized that it has been almost a week since I updated ‘Everyday Annabelle.’ This weekend was crazy and I haven’t been on the computer as much, because it is hard to be at my desk when she is awake.
I have still been taking a photo every day. I just don’t get to posting it every night like I used to. Although, frankly, I am getting bored with it. Annabelle isn’t developing and leaps and bounds like she was. Do you really want to see her playing with her toys everyday?
My goal was to continue the project until she was one. She is now 13 months old. I started it around last July 4th. So it has been almost a year that I have posted a picture every day.
I am currently deciding if I want to keep up a daily photo post. I am not a great photographer and my FREE camera is only 4 megapixels. I am thinking that it will turn into something else other than just Annabelle.
So, I have a question for you Blog Land readers: Did you check ‘Everyday Annabelle’ everyday?
P.S. My computer is going to be busy rendering video in a few minutes. So I am going to have to wait until Annabelle’s morning nap tomorrow to update it.

I do check Everyday Annabelle everyday but then you know that. I enjoy the pictures since I do not see her everyday but I do understand what you are saying. Sometimes it is time to move onto something else. I will just have to visit during the week.(haha)

The fact that you’ve been disciplined to take a photo every day for a year is awesome! That’s to be celebrated.
There are some cool photo challenges I’ve seen my photoblogging friends do called Project 365, a picture a day for a year, and it’s not just kids, it’s anything at all. I have just started this week. As much as I take pictures, I have never done it every day. I’ll be posting them a week at a time. You could try that!
But if it’s all just a hassle, I’d invest your energy into something else.

didn’t check every day, but enjoyed catching up when i did. but i understand how that obligation could become a bit of a drag. i’ll take what i can get

I love seeing all the pictures! But maybe finding something for her toddler stage would be great too, but we would miss Everyday Annabelle.

I wasn’t able to check it everyday but being the “Annabelle groupie” that I am, I do check it regularly and I love catching up with the pictures. However, I understand how tedious it can be keeping up with something like so as another reader put it “I’ll take what I can get.”

Thank you all for your feedback! I am going to check into the Project 365. I think I am leaning towards posting 7 pictures once a week. I think I could do that. I really like having a photo diary. The problem is I don’t delete all the bad photos and my iPhoto gets full. I just need to sit down and clean it out.

I check it about once a month and like getting caught up. I think it’d be awesome to have a way to comment on your pictures or just blog cute pictures of her in your blog. That’s the thing I don’t like about your Annabelle Everyday…I want to type things like “She’s so stinking cute” or “I want to eat her up” and I have to just say them to myself.
