4 Years Ago Today We Threw A Party

At this party we vowed to love each other forever, make lots of babies, and live happily ever after. We also danced our butts off! I LOVED our wedding. It really was the wedding I dreamed of since I was a little girl. Daniel and I were having a blast, so I think it rubbed off on everyone else and they had a blast too.

Here are some photos to celebrate the anniversary of this happy day.

The Ceremony

We took a few photos after the ceremony. We already took all the family and friends shots before the ceremony.

One of my most favorite moments of the wedding. No one had seen the mariachis yet. Then after everyone was inside, we were announced, as the double doors opened and we followed in after a procession of mariachis.

It was awesome to walk in and see the whole room standing and applauding.

My Aunt Norma made this cake. I gave her a picture of what I liked and she made it! She isn’t a professional cake maker. She is just that awesome.

Our programs actually called the dance portion ‘Dance Dance Revolution.’

We left by a river barge on the Riverwalk. After our own personal parade of the Riverwalk, the boat dropped us off at our hotel. So much fun. I still remember how bad my feet hurt!

    I think Pete will appreciate the fact that you guys called the dance portion of your reception “DDR.” Sweet.

    @Rachel

    DDR. totally. i mean, a DJ that’s gonna play exactly what you want for several hours?!?! we were in heaven.

    and we had a standing rule – absolutely, positively, unequivocally, not under any circumstances was he to play The Chicken Dance. it’s just a waste of totally usable dance time.
