Burger Toppings Bar

It’s no secret that I love food. I love cooking it and eating it. Cleaning up not so much. I know that you really don’t care what I ate, but I wanted to share this idea with you so you can use it at your own dinner party.

I had my usual dinner and “So You Think You Can Dance” dinner party last night. This week I decided to make burgers with a Gourmet Toppings Bar. It was a huge hit! It was so easy and reasonable if you get others to chip in too.

Melia bought buns already grilled from Biff Buzby’s burgers near Topperwein and I-35. The buns are sweet and sturdy enough to hold a lot of toppings.

Daniel and Bryan grilled the burgers and ears of corn.

Condiments:
Mayo
Mustard
Ketchup
BBQ Sauce

Cheese:
Cheddar
Swiss
Pepper Jack
Feta

Toppings:
Green Leaf Lettuce
Tomato
Red Onion
Baby Spinach
Sweet yellow onions sauted in butter and bacon drippings
Mushrooms sauted in butter and bacon drippings
Bacon

Here is a pic of the choices. I went with a mayo, BBQ sauce, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onions, mushrooms, and bacon burger. Melia couldn’t decide and made her own Split Decision burger. Is your mouth watering yet?

Yeah, that’s just not nice. It’s 12:18 a.m. and I am starving. I see a Five Guys run in my near future.

I’d do feta, guac, mushrooms & onions. Like a split decision but all together. No condiment necessary.

ps best cheese i’ve ever had on a burger: havarti.

Beautiful. Well done Amanda. I had a burger recently with chili, jalapeno bacon, red and yellow pepper salsa, chipotle mayo on an artisan bread bun.
