Back in CST & Sharing This Weekend

Spain2006 29 March 2006 | 0 Comments

We’ve been home for about a week and I finally feel like i’ve kicked the jet-lag. Body clocks are interesting things. After previous trips I would usually re-adjust quickly, but this one took a while. Also, the Spain team (some of us) will be sharing in each service at RCCC this weekend. We’ll have a [...]

Coming home

Spain2006 20 March 2006 | 0 Comments

The team made it to Barcelona this morning after an almost all-night time at the burning of the Fallas. Spent the day in Barcelona walking the Ramblas and trying to stay awake! We will fly home tomorrow A.M. Can´t wait to see everyone and share ´the rest of the story´! God is good.

Valencia

Today we will be in Valencia viewing the main Fallas. We will observe the mascletas – or fireworks in the afternoon and then the addoration of Mary, where the Falleras (women in traditional Spanish costume) bring flowers to the Virgin Mary. Where Denia has 11 Fallas, Valencia has 381. Needless to say we won’t get [...]

The team is going back to Denia today. We will be interviewing people on the street and asking them questions about the fallas festival and their beliefs. We also get to do more puppet work today. I am so excited about how God is going to work today. I can’t wait to post later about [...]

Yesterday we went to Denia to do more prayer walking and to do more puppet shows. Denia is a very beautiful and cosmopolitan town. They were beginning to set up the actual fallas on street intersections. A lot were more than three stories tall. They are amazing! A few members of our team got to [...]

Prayer Walking

Spain2006 15 March 2006 | 3 Comments

We’ve spent the last two day’s prayer walking in Javea along the Arenal, the Pueblo (city centre) and the Port. God has been giving us insight into how and what to pray for the area. Several in the team have had divine appointments – ask Renee about Ladyman! There is truly spiritual “ground plowing” happening. [...]

Sunday Church

Spain2006 12 March 2006 | 4 Comments

Today we spent the day in Javea worshiping with the church the Day’s belong to: Valley Fellowship. The drive to the church was through windy mountain roads and then through the valley where grape vines have been pruned back in preparation for the new planting season so that they look like craggy hands trying to [...]

In Calpe!

Spain2006 11 March 2006 | 2 Comments

The team is currently in Calpe, where the Days work at an Internet Cafe and Christian Bookstore. We have three puppet shows this afternoon in front of the store. We passed a ton of fliers this morning at the local street market. We were out past midnight last night at the Arenal to experience the [...]
