Also, the Spain team (some of us) will be sharing in each service at RCCC this weekend. We’ll have a short video and testimonies of our trip.

We’ll be putting more pictures in the gallery soon.

Yesterday we went to Denia to do more prayer walking and to do more puppet shows. Denia is a very beautiful and cosmopolitan town. They were beginning to set up the actual fallas on street intersections. A lot were more than three stories tall. They are amazing! A few members of our team got to meet some of the falla team members that put these structures together and were invited to that team’s headquarters.

The puppets were a huge hit with the little kids at the park. It was really neat to see them dance and clap to the songs.Â

In a lot of ways this trip feels like a giant set up trip for future teams. The Days just moved to this new town, Javea. When they get back from the States in September, they hope to start forming a church. It is really exciting to be part of the pioneering process and transition time with the Days. We found a park around the corner from the Day’s new house, that looks like a great spot for future vacation bible schools and children’s events. So we anointed and prayed over the park, tilling the ground for future trips.  Â

God is really doing a lot of amazing things in the team, the Days, and the locals. This weekend begins the major Fallas celebration in Denia and Valencia. We hope to go to these events and be lighthouses through prayer and the puppet shows. Thank you so much for your prayers, we are going to really need them this weekend. Sunday night here in Spain, we will be staying up the entire night in Valencia to watch the Fallas burn and catch a 6 am flight to Barcelona.

Hopefully, later we will be able to post some pictures. We love you guys!

We’ve spent the last two day’s prayer walking in Javea along the Arenal, the Pueblo (city centre) and the Port. God has been giving us insight into how and what to pray for the area. Several in the team have had divine appointments – ask Renee about Ladyman! There is truly spiritual “ground plowing” happening.Â

Last night the two married couples helped Don and Judy with the pilot Marriage Course.  Felicia made carne guisada for the four couples and we talked and watched a video on marriage. The rest of the team went back to Calpe for the evening.Â

Today we will be going into Denia to prayer walk around the setting up of the Fallas. The Fallas are truly huge. We saw one in Valencia that was about three stories tall. While they lay the groundwork for the Fallas we will be laying the groundwork in prayer. We will also be having some puppet shows this afternoon to draw attention and pass out flyers with the Day’s information.Â

Now is the time that will lead into the weekend which is the main time of praying for the Fallas.Â

Please pray for team unity and protection, health and physical energy. For the nationals, against ‘isolation’ that we have sensed, and for light to pierce the darkness.Â

Today we spent the day in Javea worshiping with the church the Day’s belong to: Valley Fellowship. The drive to the church was through windy mountain roads and then through the valley where grape vines have been pruned back in preparation for the new planting season so that they look like craggy hands trying to escape the earth. Brings new meaning to scriptures about vines and pruning.

It is amazing to be able to go to another continent and be with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We had a time of worship an praise, then Connie and Felicia shared testimonies. After we presented one of our puppet shows for the kids, brother Basil brought a word about the Blood of Christ.

Following services we were invited to a barbeque at the home of Mike and Doreen. Mike spent the morning making us paella – complete with Squid Ink!!!

The rest of the day was spent resting and preparing for the week.

Please pray that we get quality rest, for our Monday which will be spent prayer walking through Jalon, and that we continue to see and hear. Thanks!

The team is currently in Calpe, where the Days work at an Internet Cafe and Christian Bookstore. We have three puppet shows this afternoon in front of the store. We passed a ton of fliers this morning at the local street market.

We were out past midnight last night at the Arenal to experience the youth culture and see their need for Jesus. There are few options for youth and preteens other than the bar scene on the beach.

Thank you so much for your prayers! We also spent a part of last night praying.

Hopefully we can post more in a little bit. We need to get the stuff out of the car to set up the puppet stage.
