Plus we sure needed to be able to read a lot of basic words in order to work well in our respective schools. We were ESL teachers in public high schools. It was an awesome experience. We say "Kosonom Szepen, Viszontlatasra" all the time to e/o - (thank you very much, goodbye) - which was always heard in stores. Budapest is a great town. I'd love to spend some more time there. We spent most of our time in Gyor and went to Vienna also. Did you pick up any Hungarian?
