One of those Multiple Question Forwards

I really do love reading the forwards that make you answer a bazillion random questions about yourself. I don’t always reply or forward them, but I like reading the sender’s answers. I recently received this one from my friend, Kristin. Here are my answers.

1. What is  your occupation right now?
Stay at home Mom. Founder and Contributor to the most awesome parenting website. Doing household chores, but I don’t really do dishes, toilets, cat litter, or clean out the fridge. Sounding board and HR Consultant for my husband’s business. Teacher. And student of the Lord.

2. What  color are your socks right now?
I am not wearing any. But they are usually white.

3. What are  you listening to right now?
The hum of Daniel’s file server.

4.  What was  the last thing that you ate?
Sugar-free Tums! pasta, salad, garlic bread, and lemon cake.

5.  Can you  drive a stick shift?
Not really. Daniel keeps telling me that he is going to teach me. I have tried.

6.  Last  person you spoke to on the phone?
My mother-in-law, Felicia.

7.  Do you  like the person who sent this to you?
I absolutely love Kristin. We are very alike in some ways, because we are both leaders and seek to make other people feel included. Although, she is very time oriented and I am thankful that she has grace for me!

8.  How old  are you today?
28

9.  What is  your favorite sport to watch on TV?
College football!  The NFL seems like entertainment, but college folks do it for the sport. And definitely the Olympics.

10.  What is  your favorite drink?
Right now, combining chamomile and peppermint tea. Mmm. I do love a good Cafe Mocha. Oh, and there is a place downtown that has a Mexican Cafe Mocha that is delicious!

11.. Have you  ever dyed your hair?
My hair has been highlighted for the last 10 years. I just recently thought about growing out my highlights and got pretty far, but when I was interviewed for t.v. I went had them done. I on;y get a mohawk highlight and it is way cheaper that way. Also, my friend and stylist does them so well, that you don’t notice them that bad when I go for months without getting them done.

12.  Favorite  food?
Chocolate cake. I also love a great hamburger. I once made a goal to try every well known hamburger place in San Antonio. I got pretty far, but never attained my goal.

13.  What is  the last movie you watched?
The sequel to Centerstage on the Oxygen network. It was horrible and put me in a foul mood afterwards.

14.  Favorite  day of the year?
Don’t have a clear favorite. I do enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July.

15.  How do you vent anger?
I usually get quiet until I can figure out why I am angry. Or I may mumble something horrible and slam a door.

16.  What was  your favorite toy as a child?
My seagreen and purple Huffy ten-speed. I rode all over town and to places I shouldn’t have been on it. I got it for Christmas. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and running to the front room and I saw it. I was excited and went back to bed, before anyone caught me.

17.  What is  your favorite season?
Falll! The cool weather, football, beginning of a new school year, my anniversary. Thanksgiving!

18.  Cherries  or Blueberries?
Neither. Strawberries all the way!

19.  Do you  want your friends to e-mail you back?
not applicable, since I am using this for a blog post.

Dawn, who has been my Nablopomo buddy.

Lurkers who read this blog, but never comment.

22.  Living  arrangements?
I have been married and lived with Daniel for 5 years now. We bought a house 3 years ago. Somtimes I regret that decision, because of all the extra costs of owning your own home. But I love my house and I can’t wait until we are out of debt and I can spend some money on furniture and decorating.

23.  When was  the last time you cried?
Yesterday in the car after I saw the accident that I just posted about. I think a lot of emotions had piled up and they just came spilling out.

24.  What is  on the floor of your closet?
Clothes that are in a state of flux, because I am pregnant.

25.  Who is the friend you have had the longest that you are  still in contact with .
My friend, Amy. She is a lot of people’s oldest friend. I am so glad that she is my friend! I have posted about her here and here.

26.  What did  you do last night
blog, grocery shop, watch tv. Nothing exciting, really.

27.  What are  you most afraid of
something horrible happening to my children.

28.  Plain,  cheese, or spicy hamburger
Cheddar.

29. Favorite  dog breed?
We are not dog people, because they are too much work!

30. Favorite  day of the week?
Friday.

31. How many  states have you lived in?
One. the great state of Texas!!

32.  Diamonds  or pearls?
My wedding ring has a diamond. So I guess, diamonds.

33.  What is  your favorite flower?
Daises, because they are a friendly flower.
Also, white orchids, because my husband gave me a bouquet of white orchids the night he proposed.
