We watched “The Iron Lady” last night. I wasn’t expecting the dementia plot, but more of the backstory of Thatchers roots and rise to power. It wasn’t necessarily a visually beautiful movie. I think we both expected something along the lines of “The King’s Speech” which exceeded our expectations. Iron Lady failed in exceeding our expectations, even with an Oscar winning performance by Meryl Streep.
