The Power of Inflection
Thanks John Stewart for pointing out what I was already thinking. I know it’s possible to re-assemble soundbites to make anyone say anything, but really, the rhetoric is the same, it’s just the delivery that’s different. It’s yet to be seen how the follow through compares.
But the best part of the inauguration had to be the final prayer – “when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow, when the red man can get ahead man,…” I think it should be a rule -all prayers need to rhyme.

… and there the similarities end
Should all prayers also include the blanket accusation that everything is the fault of white people?
I saw this the other day – hilarious!!!! I think Stewart said something like “minutiae + fuschia” = brilliance.
@Barb
I totally missed that. But, no, just mandate the rhyming.
@Dawn
Yeah, it cracked me up. And saw Colbert interview the poet that wrote “Praise Song for the Day” L-oh-freaking-L.
