USA! USA! USA!
I love watching the Olympics. I love the stories of the athletes, I love the competition, I love seeing other countries and cultures, I love the Jamaican bobsled team.
The Opening Ceremonies are ‘tonight’ (Beijing is +23 hours from here, so they are in the middle of the first day of competition). We’ll be watching.
I was in Beijing as they were a year into the preparation for the Olympics and the city was already being turned upside down. I’ll bet the change has been amazing.
I’m looking forward to swimming, track & field relays, and volleyball – just to name a few.
What is your favorite sport to watch?
Ooh, I like it too. I like swimming and gymnastics. I love catching a bit of the speedwalking, because it’s so funny to look at. But truth be known, I like all the events. Every bit can be pretty compelling.
And as Amanda knows, now that my beloved SYTYCD is over, I need a new competish to get all worked up about.
hands down, my favorite is gymnastics. we’re thinking alike because i had to post about this too!
Gymnastics is always a favorite, but I like swimming a lot too. I think this is the first time, since our move overseas 3 years ago, that I wish we had cable.
